Overview
The CCNA Version 7.0 curriculum help students develop a comprehensive foundation for designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting modern computer networks, on the scale from small business networks to enterprise networks, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and essential career skills like problem solving and collaboration.
The programme consists of three modules:
- Introduction to Networks (ITN)
- Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE)
- 3. Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA)
Vector Technology is a Certified Local Cisco Academy which means that we are authorized to use the official Cisco Networking Academy Curriculum. The ACADEMY is designed as a comprehensive learning programme which provides students with the Internet technology skills essential in a global economy. The Networking Academy program delivers Web-based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, hands-on-labs, instructor training and support, and preparation for industry standard certifications.

Entry Requirements
- Full Applicants – Candidates who possess Certificate/s, Diploma or Degree in IT or Engineering.
- Mature Status - Candidates who do not meet the requirement under full status may be granted admission based on prior IT skills and knowledge through:
- Work experience
- Job responsibilities
- Technical qualifications
- Technical competences
Candidates should also provide the Institute with an updated resume with proof of possessing a minimum of two year of working experience in the field of IT. A recommendation letter should also be provided, the letter should include the name of the applicant, his/her job title, duration of employment, job description, and the signature of the Manager or Supervisor. The letter should also bear the seal or stamp of the company.
Acceptance into the programme is subject to the conditions governing matriculation requirements of the College Policy.
All candidates MUST be computer literate and have access to a computer and the internet.

International Certifications
At the end of each module, successful students are awarded with a Certificate of Completion from CISCO Networking Academy. By the end of the CCNA course series, students gain practical, hand-on experience preparing them for the CCNA certification exam and career-ready skills for associate-level roles in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry. Students can then sit the International Certification Exam at Vector and benefit from earning discount vouchers leading toward a reduction in the international exam cost. The international exam fee is not included in the programme fee.
