Overview
The Advance Diploma for Cybersecurity Analyst is a specialist diploma designed for individuals with IT knowledge or several years of practice or some combination of IT knowledge and experience. Students will develop the skill-set of analyzing, assessing, and preventing vulnerabilities in the infrastructure. Students will widen their skills necessary to the cybersecurity field and contribute to the management of security solutions. The Specialist Diploma builds on the CompTIA Cybersecurity Pathway which accommodates advanced standing in a most seamless way. IT Professionals may use relevant experience and/or training to gain entry to the programme at a level that will be most beneficial and consistent with their current level of IT expertise and achievements.

Entry Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a first degree or equivalent in an area of IT, or have acquired prior skills and knowledge through working experience or other studies. The candidate will be interviewed to determine if the matriculation requirements for the programme have been met, and at which point of the programme the candidate will enter.

Acceptance into the programme is subject to the conditions governing matriculation requirements of the College Policy.
Curriculum
To satisfy the requirements of the Advance Diploma for Cybersecurity Analyst, all students admitted to the programme should complete a minimum of 510 hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. The programme of study consists of both theory and practical modules.
All candidates MUST be computer literate and have access to a computer and the internet.
